Athens, Greece – In her first performance in Greece, Fairuz will headline the Athens Epidaurus Festival on Saturday, July 7.

The legendary Fairuz will be accompanied by Mr. Karen Durgarian, her conductor since 2000. The concert will take place at the Herodeon (Odeon of Herodes Atticus) at the southern slopes of the Acropolis. The historic venue is home to the theatrical, music, and dance events of the Athens Festival.

Fairuz and her orchestra arrived in Athens on July 2 for final preparations and rehearsals. The concert is scheduled to begin at 9:00 PM and tickets are available through the festival’s web site.
